YGOOW is built by one person: Adam Koch, in Hagen, Germany, under the name Koch Laboratory. Where this site says “we”, that is who it means.

Work on the YGOOW you see here began on 18 June 2026. The name is older: ygoow.com has been registered since 17 October 2007 — you can check it in the public domain registry — and back then YGOOW was peer-to-mail: no accounts, no registration.

The research behind it is published as it happens. The progress page says what runs in the app and what is built but not yet in it; the whitepaper says where each protection ends, and lists what we got wrong in its changelog; the measurement cards — each with its criteria written down before the run, its hash and its timestamp — are in the Koch Laboratory notebook. That list is current as of 8 October 2026: the research is ongoing, entries may change and new ones will be added.
